Timur Bey
Our boat is called the `Timur Bey’, she is a traditional Turkish Gulet, 18
metres long, made of wood, has 2 sails, & gives us a lot of pleasure & also
our guests who share her.
She is moored in the picturesque fishing harbour here in Kalkan which is our base. Her facilities include:-
Come & enjoy the spectacular scenery of the Turquoise Coast from Timur Bey on a sail around the bay or further along the coast line. It is the most relaxing way to spend a day or two, stopping in secluded bays to swim & snorkel, enjoying good food & good company in this peaceful, tranquil setting of mountains, pine forests, rocky cliffs & coves to land side as we sail quietly thru’ the clear water of the Mediterranean sea.
Timur bey is equipped for charter hire of several days & we can help you plan a route of however many days journey you would like to make. The cabins have a small amount of storage space, & we encourage guest to travel light as dress code is very relaxed & informal, most guests prefer to sleep on deck under the stars & the reason soon becomes obvious - the night sky is spectacular. A truly lazy holiday within a holiday, high on the list of ` must do’s’ whilst staying here in Kalkan.
Why not get a few friends together & enjoy a private charter ? Maybe a Moonlight Cruise, dining on board & viewing the village all lit up in its night time finery - a very pretty site. Or simply party & BBQ the night away. We can make a birthday party or wedding celebration , whatever occasion, a memorable one.
